Things to take to NYSC Orientation Camps

Dear Otondo, congratulation on your call-up letter. Hope you are good and ready to go to camp.
Wish you a safe journey.
And don't forget to take along the following:
  1. Original Call-up letter: scan it first for future reference and make photocopies plus your original to camp.
  2. Your final year Student ID Card: this should be a most recent and the expiry date should be at least a month after orientation camp.
  3. Statement of Result from your school: for some people that have graduated a longer time, certificate may be available and this should be taken instead of statement of result. I will like to tell you here that all NYSC camps have the signature of the approving officer of all Institutions approved for NYSC.
  4. Passport photograph: at least 30
  5. Your personal items

How to collect a new posting letter in case of Rejection

Rejection is expected from your PPA. Depending on your PPA, you can either be accepted or rejected. Once you are rejected, please don’t be dejected. All you need to do is take the rejection letter to the Zonal Office as the case may be and you will posted to a new PPA. Causes of rejection 1.    Your PPA feels they don’t need your expertise or course of study. For example, if you study physics/electronic and you are posted to a commercial high school where they major in commercial related courses, they will obviously not take you or you study business admin and you are posted to a technical school to teach, they will not take you. 2.    Your PPA already have enough corpers Let’s say your PPA is a growing organization now, and they have a target of just 5 corpers per batch.
