21 Days to POP for 2013 Batch A: Time to take stock?

Dear would be ex corps member, one year ago, I was calling u an otondo, but now you've become most senior. Seniority comes with a responsibility anyway.

It's time to take stock.

  • How have you spent your NYSC year? Are you going back the same way you came, less than you came, or more than you came?
  • Have you added any meaningful impact to your life?
  • Will they really miss you in your PPA?
  • Can you boldly say "I came, I saw and I conquered"?
  • Did you waste your service year?
  • Or your service year was a waste?
Are you going home with a trophy/Award?  If yes, kindly share your story on this blog to encourage others that it is possible.

Individual/Personal Cds project

Its been a while now that I have been able to blog, I'd really wanted to but it's quite hectic here. I am trying to carry out some personal projects here and the procedures are tasking but am getting over it sha. The main thing I need now is funding. The projects I have in mind are many but I pray that I will be able to achieve them.

How to collect a new posting letter in case of Rejection

Rejection is expected from your PPA. Depending on your PPA, you can either be accepted or rejected. Once you are rejected, please don’t be dejected. All you need to do is take the rejection letter to the Zonal Office as the case may be and you will posted to a new PPA. Causes of rejection 1.    Your PPA feels they don’t need your expertise or course of study. For example, if you study physics/electronic and you are posted to a commercial high school where they major in commercial related courses, they will obviously not take you or you study business admin and you are posted to a technical school to teach, they will not take you. 2.    Your PPA already have enough corpers Let’s say your PPA is a growing organization now, and they have a target of just 5 corpers per batch. If you come as the 6th corper, because they have reached their maximum number, they will not be able to take you. 3.    Your employer does not think you can work with them. 4.    You can ask to be rejected.
